Hin Sam Sao

Hin Sam Sao หินสามเส้า is located just at the West Coast of Koh Chang. From the Beach, it takes only 20 minutes to the Dive Site. We are the only Dive Center that dives this site. But we only go there in High Season when our Boat is Mored at the Beach in Klong Prao.
Hin Sam Sao หินสามเส้า are 3 surfacing rocks which you can see on the Surface. There is one Bouy Line attached just on a Pinnacle in front, the buoy line is attached to a large Pinnacle. The line leads down to a depth of around 5 meters it is Possible to dive down to around 20 meters. There are two different options here you can spend your time exploring the Pinnacle. Where you have some great rock formations and soft corals.
The west side of Hin Sam Sao หินสามเส้า is where you can get to a depth of around 16 to 17 meter. Or you can head out over to the 3 main rocks. On one side will be a depth of 12 meters. After it gets slowly shallower if you go around the last rock it leads you to, 2 to 3 meters in some places.
Along these rocks. You will Dive across many corals both hard and soft. It’s well worth getting closer to the rocks to spot some:
blue spotted Stingrays or white-eyed Moray’s hiding in the spaces. Then you can head back over to Pinnacles and level up to the top at around 5 to 3 meters spend some time here make your safety stop and finish the dive.

Our Divemaster’s

Our Divemasters will give you a boat briefing and an overview for the day at the time the boat starts. They will give you a Dive briefing before each dive, and be in the front to lead the group while diving. Ask you frequently for Air consumption and knock against the Tank to get your attention. If there is any problem they will assist you, to secure your and others safety. If you and your buddy would like to explore the dive-site yourself the Divemasters will give you a briefing on the boat and check the predive safety procedure before your buddy team enter the water.

Entry and Exit

• Dive Boat

Predive Safety Check! We enter the water from the side of the Boat with a Giant Strike, if all is OK, clear the place and swim on the surface to the starting point. After the dive, back on the surface we swim back to the ladder on the side of the boat, stand on the ladder and take off the fin’s (give it up to the crew) climb up the ladder with the regulator in your mouth. Never stay under a diver which try to climb up.

• Dinghy Boat

Predive Safety Check! We enter the water with a backroll entry. When everything is OK, clear the place and swim on the surface to the starting point. After the dive, back on the surface, we swim back to the dinghy boat. When you reach the dinghy boat remove your weight belt and BCD. Start to get up the dinghy with the help of a few kicks with your fin’s.
