Whether you’re a PADI, SSI, CMAS, NAUI, or RAID instructor, this course allows you to transfer your credentials and start teaching under Scuba Diving International (SDI) and Technical Diving International (TDI).
SDI and TDI are recognized by WRSTC, EUF, ISO and widely accepted by dive centers, resorts, and agencies worldwide.

What You’ll Learn
- Introduction to SDI/TDI standards and philosophy
- How SDI training materials and systems work
- How to teach SDI Open Water and advanced courses
- Risk management and diver safety protocols
- Transferring existing specialties (Nitrox, Deep, etc.)
How the Crossover Works
- Online Self-Study: Introduction to SDI/TDI, philosophy, standards, and procedures
- Document Collection: Submit valid instructor ratings, insurance (if required), and specialty qualifications
- Final Approval: Meet with an Instructor Trainer for orientation and document review
✅ This course only needs to be done once – even if crossing over to both SDI and TDI.

Requirements
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Active teaching status instructor with a WRSTC-recognized agency
- Minimum 100 logged dives
- Completion of the SDI/TDI online crossover program
- Ability to submit all required documents and certifications
