Hin Raab South
Hin Raab South หินราบใต้ is located south-west from bang Bao. As you approach the dive site, the first thing you will see is the rock of Hin Raab, it is a fairly flat long rock. The Site has two Buoy Lines. One is attached to a Rock and leads Divers to a depth of around 6 to 7 meter. The second Buoy is located by a shallow sandy area, depth around 4 to 5 meter.
Hin Raab South หินราบใต้ is a beautiful Coral Reef. That has a lot of hard Corals, There are beautiful yellow soft Corals and many whip Corals. Both Buoy lines take you directly onto the reef. There are no long Surface swims.
The starting depth will be around 6 meters as you head over to the main Rock of Hin Raab. You will Dive over to a shallow sandy area. Where you can swim along the main wall. Here you can see many Scorpion Fish, some magnificent anemones, Barrel Sponges and some beautiful purple Stag-horn Corals.
As you continue to descend to around 12 meters you can follow the Reef. This takes you to a small Rock where there are 4 old Gunship Bullets located. If you continue this direction. You will arrive at an area, with a lot of rock formations and many marbled Sea Cucumbers to be found. Also, you can find Blue Spotted Rays and white-eyed Moray Eals. Keep an eye out for the Trigger Fish.
Here you will also hit your maximum depth which will be around 18 meters as you follow the Reef. It starts to level up again to around 10 meters. Where you will dive to a beautiful big piece of hard coral. If your good with your buoyancy. There is space under this corals where you can often see: Moray’s, just after you leave this Coral. You will be back to the Buoy Line. At Hin Raab South หินราบใต้ we can see a huge array of fish: from yellow back Fusiliers, Barracudas, Trumpet Fish. There is also a chance to see nice big Turtle, so keep an eye out.

Our Divemaster’s
Our Divemasters will give you a boat briefing and an overview for the day at the time the boat starts. They will give you a Dive briefing before each dive, and be in the front to lead the group while diving. Ask you frequently for Air consumption and knock against the Tank to get your attention. If there is any problem they will assist you, to secure your and others safety. If you and your buddy would like to explore the dive-site yourself the Divemasters will give you a briefing on the boat and check the predive safety procedure before your buddy team enter the water.

Predive Safety Check! We enter the water from the side of the Boat with a Giant Strike, if all is OK, clear the place and swim on the surface to the starting point. After the dive, back on the surface we swim back to the ladder on the side of the boat, stand on the ladder and take off the fin’s (give it up to the crew) climb up the ladder with the regulator in your mouth. Never stay under a diver which try to climb up.
Predive Safety Check! We enter the water with a backroll entry. When everything is OK, clear the place and swim on the surface to the starting point. After the dive, back on the surface, we swim back to the dinghy boat. When you reach the dinghy boat remove your weight belt and BCD. Start to get up the dinghy with the help of a few kicks with your fin’s.
