The Rescue Diver Course is one of the most rewarding and empowering certifications in scuba diving. In 3 days, you’ll learn to manage emergencies, perform search and rescue, and help others stay safe – while building your own confidence underwater.
This course is recommended for every diver and required for becoming a Divemaster or Master Scuba Diver.

Course Schedule
- Day 1: Meet your instructor, gear setup, review theory, pool rescue skills
- Day 2: 2 rescue scenario dives (max. 60 mins or 50 bar limit)
- Day 3: 2 final rescue scenario dives + skills assessment
📌 Junior Rescue Divers (12–15) max. depth: 21m – parental consent required
Who Can Join?
- Minimum age: 15 (PADI) / 12 (Junior Rescue, SDI)
- Advanced Open Water certification (or equivalent)
- Valid First Aid/CPR certificate (max. 12 months old)
- Online theory must be completed before course start
- Good fitness and strong swimming ability

FAQ – Your Questions Answered
❓ Do I need First Aid training before the Rescue Course?
Yes – a valid CPR/First Aid certificate (max. 12 months old) is required. If you don’t have one yet, you can join our First Aid Course before or alongside Rescue training.
❓ How difficult is the Rescue Course?
It’s challenging but very rewarding! You’ll practice realistic scenarios and build real rescue skills – all in a supportive team setting.
❓ How many dives are included?
You’ll do 4 open water rescue scenario dives, plus pool training and lots of hands-on practice above water.
❓ Is this course needed to become a Divemaster?
Yes – Rescue Diver is required for both the Divemaster Course and Master Scuba Diver rating.
❓ Can I take this course as a junior diver?
Yes – from age 12 (SDI Junior Rescue). PADI requires 15+. For 12–15 year olds, the max depth is 21 meters with parental consent.
