Prices depend on the activity: guided Fun Dives start from 3,290 THB, a Try Dive from 4,890 THB, and the Open Water Diver course from 14,490 THB. Full current rates for day trips, courses, specialties and tech are on our prices page.
For a Try Dive you need no prior diving experience. To start an Open Water course you should be comfortable in the water, able to swim, and fit enough for light physical activity. Minimum age is usually 10 years for junior programmes (with parental consent). We train in small groups with SDI, TDI and PADI.
In most cases you only complete a medical questionnaire. A doctor’s certificate is needed only if you answer “yes” to certain health questions or have specific conditions.
In high season the boat departs from Klong Prao Beach, just steps from the dive center. We can pick you up from your hotel, or you meet us at the center around 8:00 AM / at the beach departure point around 8:15 AM. A small transfer boat takes you out to our dive boat offshore.
Warm water, healthy reefs and a relaxed atmosphere make Koh Chang ideal for divers of all levels – from first Try Dive to wreck and technical training.
The main season runs from October to May with calmer seas and typically better visibility. Diving is possible year-round; rainy months can mean fewer boats and more macro opportunities.
Expect water temperatures around 28–30°C, with visibility commonly from about 10 to 20 meters (conditions vary with season and site).
Yes – the HTMS Chang wreck is Thailand’s largest wreck dive, plus reefs and pinnacles such as Hin Luk Bat.
You might spot turtles, moray eels, pufferfish, seahorses, nudibranchs, stingrays and occasionally whale sharks. Koh Chang’s marine biodiversity is excellent for both beginners and experienced divers.
