Rescue Diver Course – Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need First Aid training before Rescue?

Yes – you’ll need a valid CPR/First Aid certificate issued within the past 12 months. If you don’t have one yet, you can take our First Aid Course before or alongside the Rescue training.

How difficult is the Rescue Course?

It’s one of the most challenging and rewarding recreational courses. You’ll face real scenarios and build real skills – with lots of teamwork and support.

How many dives are included?

You’ll complete 4 rescue scenario dives, plus pool training and hands-on practice above water.

Is Rescue required for Divemaster?

Yes – Rescue Diver is a prerequisite for both Divemaster and Master Scuba Diver certification.

Can junior divers join?

Yes – with SDI from age 12. For PADI, the minimum age is 15. Junior Rescue Divers (12–15) are limited to 21 meters and need parental consent.
