At first glance, it features a brand new color display that is clearer and easier to read than ever before. The BrightSee ® Wide Angle Color Display is a unique combination of glass and display technology that offers unprecedented clarity, minimizes glare and provides an incredibly wide viewing angle. The permanent LED display illumination of Suunto’s new Eon Core dive computer allows you to read the data in any visibility and even at night.
What makes this dive computer so special is not only its countless features, its performance and its slightly changed and modernized design, but the fact that it can be personalized to change from any dive computer to your personal dive guide.
With Suunto CustomDisplay™ you can customize your Suunto EON Core or EON Steel to display exactly what you want. Simply connect your Suunto EON dive computer to Suunto DM5 and determine what data is displayed where, or clear fields altogether to make it easier to view.
This makes Suunto Eon Core the perfect dive computer for beginners, because it keeps up with your dive development and grows with your experience, from a beginner’s computer to a professional instructor’s computer.
The display of this Suunto dive computer adapts to your diving habits, as you can choose which data you want to keep track of while diving and how it is displayed on the screen. You can choose between a graphical or a classic text display. You can also choose how conservative you want to dive and whether you want to use it as an air integrated Suunto dive computer with transmitter or as a classic Suunto dive computer.
Connect wirelessly to Suunto Tank PODs to dive with up to 10 gas mixtures. You can keep track of your remaining dive time by choosing whether to display or hide your tank pressure or gas consumption.
After the dive, simply transfer your dive logs to your mobile phone via Bluetooth or to Suunto DM5 with the USB cable. With the graphical dive planner in DM5, you can easily create dive profiles, manage gases and backup schedules, and print mixing instructions. All your dives are stored in the logbook so you can analyze and compare them by date, mode and equipment. The Suunto App is available from the App Store and Google Play Store.
Several modes are available with Suunto Eon Core: Compressed air, Nitrox with up to 99% oxygen, Trimix with up to 95% helium, Rebreather, Bottom timer, Plan mode. 10 different gases can be displayed by the new Suunto Eon Core, up to a proud maximum depth of 80 meters. Of course, you can also use Suunto Eon Core without air integration.
The Suunto Eon Core opt. with transmitter has everything a demanding diver expects from a dive computer: audible and visual alarms, altitude adjustment, no-fly time, surface time, time, date and stopwatch, temperature display, LED backlight and much more.
The three large buttons, which intuitively guide you through the well-structured menu, can be easily operated even with thick neoprene gloves.
A well-thought-out dive planner contributes to a perfect dive preparation. To record your diving adventures, Suunto Eon Core offers an incredible 200 hours of logbook memory.
The Suunto Fused RGBM2 decompression model in the air-integrated Suunto Eon Core dive computer ensures absolute safety even on the most demanding dives. Data is transferred to your PC via USB cable, and Suunto Eon Core dive computer software is compatible with Suunto DM5 and can be updated for a lifetime.
The new Suunto Eon Core dive computer with optional air integration is powered by a powerful rechargeable lithium-ion battery that lasts up to 60 days (10-20 hours dive time) in “time” mode without recharging.
