Welcome to Chang Diving,

Chang Diving Centre boat and booking guide gives you a small overview. Our boat (pirm udom sub since.2020) is a converted Thai Navy Patrol vessel (small coastal patrol boat). Which is designed for a total of 12 divers performing 3 dives per day. The boat is 13.6 meters long and 3.2 meters wide. The boat is powered by a 260 HP Turbo Cummins marine diesel engine and is electrically powered by solar panels producing 2 KW of 220 v electricity. The dive deck offers a total of 36 diving tanks, entry and exit on both sides left and right.
The captain’s cabin is a dry room. The spacious toilet is located in the bow of the boat.

The Dive Day

The diving day depends on the respective boat ride. 1 dive takes 50-60 minutes, so the day is made up of boat ride to the dive site, and dive (1 hour). the boat ride and surface interval to the next spot (1 hour), dive 2 (1 hour).

Dive day 2 dives 3 hours + departure and arrival
Dive day 3 dives 5 hrs + departure and arrival

The shortest boat ride is 25 minutes, and the longest 1.5 hours. The divesites we are diving are on the west side of Koh Chang. There are NO Beaches or Islands!

Booking with Chang Diving

Since the pandemic, we have worked in a small effective team. You can reach us by email, WhatsApp, or Line 7 days a week. Bookings can only be made directly with us and not through third parties (booking agencies, hotels etc.). If you are on the island and would like to visit the dive center, please call us briefly, we are only at the dive center when the boat is back.

Please take into account when planning your holiday that we take a maximum of 10 divers per day. Therefore, pre-booking is a good idea as this is the only way to secure your preferred date and your place on the boat.
